Blue Pencil Collective designed the nostalgic WWII-themed corporate headquarters for Wings Insurance and FlyWise Aviation School in Eden Prairie, blending history with modern comfort and aviation aesthetics.
Welcome to the headquarters for Wings Insurance and the new vocational mechanical school, FlyWise Aviation, at Flying Cloud airport in Eden Prairie, MN. The new design is a nostalgic nod to WWII, depicted with the owner’s collection of historical aviation imagery and artifacts, complete with a salvaged airplane wing table and break room inspired by mid-century airplane diners. Everyday business activities are now executed in an inspirational space, connecting past and present fluidly while honoring a deeply personal history with rich, modern comforts centering around family and the Wings team
Wings Insurance recently completed their corporate headquarters, which encompassed 12,000 SF and included three hangar bays, office space, breakroom, simulator room, and conference.
