Voodoo Offices – Paris
Factory designed Voodoo’s Paris head office in a contemporary, spacious, and inspiring manner, embodying corporate values with a focus on promoting creativity, well-being, transparency, and team synergy.
Voodoo, the world leader in ‘hyper-casual’ mobile games, asked Factory to design a head office in Paris capable of accommodating 500 employees, up from the initial 100. Having previously occupied coworking spaces, Voodoo was looking for an iconic and spacious location that would embody its corporate values and promote creativity and its team’s well-being. The choice fell on la Poste du Louvre, a remarkable building whose contemporary architecture, designed by Dominique Perrault, reconciles the site’s industrial and historical heritage with mixed use.
Under the impetus of Voodoo’s founders, who advocate a healthy lifestyle, Factory designed a project inspired by the Japanese concept of ‘Wabi Sabi’, using noble, natural materials. The workspaces have been designed to encourage transparency and team synergy, with open spaces and areas for relaxation and concentration, in a minimalist but warm atmosphere. The use of raw materials, natural colours and greenery created a soothing environment. The project also overcame significant technical and logistical challenges, with an ambitious 9-month completion deadline.
