The recent office renovation by Conexus Studio aimed not only to accommodate the company’s expansion but also to breathe new life into the existing space. In a bold stride towards fostering synergy and rapport, the prime objective of the design was to transform the office into a melting pot of ideas, promoting collaboration and social interaction amongst the Brunel team.A Grand First Impression
The reception area of any office is its gateway, welcoming guests, and employees alike. With their expansion to an entire floor, Brunel had the opportunity to enlarge their reception, transforming the entrance experience into something even more welcoming and awe-inspiring. The design seamlessly marries the existing industrial interior design concept with a touch of contemporary elegance.Where Work and Relaxation Converge
The core of the office, where employee interactions transcend the realm of work, is embodied in the pantry area. It’s injected with nuances of nature and decked out in carefully selected shades of grey, spruced up with splashes of lively yellow, creating an enticing environment for both work and leisure activities. The introduction of biophilic elements also bridges the gap between nature and technology, infusing the space with a sense of calm and balance.Where Ideas Blossom
Amidst the hustle and bustle, the boardroom takes centre stage as a place where visions materialise, and strategies take form. This dynamic space is designed to inspire and stimulate ideas through its bold and modern aesthetic, playing with linear patterns that reflect the company’s forward-thinking approach. With ample space for brainstorming sessions and equipped with state-of-the-art technology, the boardroom sets the stage for innovative ideas to bloom.Navigating Challenges, Crafting Unity
The journey of transforming an existing space into a seamless blend of old and new was not without its challenges. The design team at Conexus Studio had to carefully navigate around the structural limitations of existing elements, at the same time updating the look and feel while weaving the company’s brand identity into the space. However, these challenges ultimately led to a stronger sense of unity within the office. By working together and finding creative solutions, the team was able to create a space that truly embodies Brunel’s values and fosters a sense of community and collaboration among employees.The revamped office is a testament to Brunel’s dedication to excellence and innovation.
